Job Description: We are currently seeking a Dental Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily administrative functions of the clinic, supporting patients while adhering to company policies and standards. This role involves a variety of duties, including reception, scheduling, coordinating with other offices and patients, preparing and presenting treatment plans, verifying insurance, and maintaining patient charts and records.

Essential Functions:

  • Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient operations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing questions and concerns in a calm and helpful manner.
  • Prepare and present treatment plans, ensuring patients understand their recommended care.
  • Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate patient charts and records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Prioritize and multitask on multiple projects, managing interruptions effectively.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in dental office administration or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and dental software.
  • Passion for dentistry and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Work Schedule:

Mon: 8:30-4:30pm
Tues.-Wed: 8:30-6pm
Thurs: Admin as needed
Friday: 6:30am-3:30pm.
2 Sat. a month 7:30-2:00pm

Years Experience Required: 1

Required Skills:Ability to establish lasting and effective employee relationships in a team environment
Proficiency in using standard computer and office equipment
Good spelling, grammar, typing, data entry, and phone skills
Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
